Lennox Electronics Corp portable Dvd Battery does not charge,with either the AC adapter or car charger, phone# does not work Edison New Jersey

Portable Dvd got for my daughter for xmas does not charge either with the ac adapter or car charger. Durabrand i have tried the number on back of the dvd player. Of course it is out of service and email address does not work either, so now I,am out of 85.dollars and my daughter is out of a portable DVD player.
